I would love to get something on the calendar. I would have the 12-14th free and then the whole next week would be free. (Kylie will be home for a few days for spring break the 15-19.) You are more than welcome to come to Berne if you want -- we have plenty of rooms if you would want to stay overnight. It is about 1 hour 15 minutes from Anderson --maybe a few more depending on where you live. That would be from the first Anderson exit on the north side. Or I can come there -- whatever works best for you. Just let me know! May you have an awesome day!! Love ya!

Kathy, so perfectly said.
I am doing this for lots of reasons. But one thing for sure, THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME. There are times, I just lay in bed, and i think about all my things in storage. I imagine this and that. And I think about the clothes that I miss, all the cute sfuff I could be wearing, but its in plastic bags, in some storage place, in Sarasota, Fl. Seems so obscure, and sometimes surreal. Its like there's a life of its own in that storage room thousands of miles away.
I am trying to soak in this experience for I know it is only temporary. For how long I don't know. The traveling? Well, I"m fortunate that I have a job that at least allows me to get out. But truthfully, I do have friends that are AMAZING and tend to pay for me to come see them. I am blessed for sure.

Nicole, that is HILARIOUS, and you would be the only one to say something. I"m sure others too have wondered, but you have the guts to ask. Its my Green tea BREW that I drink throughout the day. I am really trying to assure I drink enough water, and they say green tea is the best. So I make a cup of green tea in the morning, pour it in the jug and fill the jug up with water, and the goal is to drink it all day. It goes with me everywhere through the house. See? I really am not crazy, actually very very smart. Ha.

I was a Gypsy for 10 months. All my stuff in storage, except what I really needed. I did not leave town (traveling would of made it more adventurous) I liked not having the household monthly bills and the whole house to clean ( although I did clean my own room and housework for the friend I stayed with). I have to say that after awhile living out of a suitcase, moving around to stay with my Mom here and there. got a little old after awhile. I thought about my stuff in storage and when I went to take it out and set up my home again. It was like Christmas, I forgot what all I had. I have down sized much over the last few years and have to say keeping it simple is better, but do miss the frills sometimes. Carolyn traveling while living the Gypsy life would be better than stationary, but it is always good to be home too ! KK

Please, lets get something on the calendar in abou 3 weeks for so. Will so look forward to it. Should I come to Berne, and enjoy the little town. How far is it.
I so love this, your room looks like mine right now. I am so busy doing things for the kids and other people that I just don't have the time to clean it up. i am so happy that you love where you are. i think it is great that you are pursuing your dream. I hope we can talk very soon. Have a nice night and thanks for sharing your life with us.
